Many eating disorder behaviors have been normalized by a society rooted in diet culture. Rigid rules and dietary restrictions have replaced food flexibility and interfered with body trust. Confronting those behaviors can feel scary and overwhelming, but will ultimately allow you to move forward and reclaim your life.

At Nutrition Fit for You, we will support you through the ups and downs of recovery. As we untangle the beliefs and thoughts that have contributed to your eating disorder, we will help you reestablish balanced eating and exercise patterns. You will restore confidence and trust in your body as you discover life without your eating disorder.

Anti-Diet

Diet culture is EVERYWHERE—and most people don’t even realize they’re being subjected to it. It takes a lot of digging to undo the harmful beliefs from years of weight stigma.

Health at Every Size®

Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and we welcome them all. Embracing a Health at Every Size (HAES)® approach, we reject weight stigma and welcome body diversity. Your weight does not define you!

Movement is key

Whether activity is compulsive, avoided or somewhere in between, we will help you explore your relationship with exercise and its role in your life. Rediscover the function of movement for self-care and well-being.

Listen to the body

So many people question their body’s intuitive cues allowing harmful external messages to interfere with self-care decisions. Becoming attuned to internal cues will give you the confidence to nourish your body.

Hear what our clients have to say

In the darkest time of my life, I felt like I had nowhere to turn to for help. I was uncertain about opening up to someone about my anxiety around food because I didn’t think they would understand. Now, I am the happiest and most free I have ever been when it comes to food and eating. I can have meals and snacks with friends freely and enjoy vacations without worrying about where we will be eating next. — S. Client
