Athletes have unique needs—changes in training volume, sport specific workouts and nutrient timing for muscle adaptation can all influence an athlete’s nutrition requirements. Equally important, yet often overshadowed, are personal food preferences, internal satiety cues and eating for enjoyment.

At Nutrition Fit for You, we combine evidence-based sports nutrition principles with aspects of Intuitive Eating to develop a plan that is centered around you. We will work together to help you find the balance between food, exercise and body and equip you with the tools you need for success.

Hear what our clients have to say

“We had previously worked with a treatment team that refused to consider anything else beyond their standard approach, which was heavy-handed and almost cruel. Landing in the Nutrition Fit for You office was like a breath of fresh air — exactly what was needed to begin making strides toward better mental and physical health. They listened to what our daughter liked and didn’t like, and made so many creative suggestions for meeting all of her nutritional needs. Our daughter was supported throughout her entire journey to recovery. Even now, our daughter enjoys checking in from time to time to ensure she’s on the right track for continued success. Our daughter’s time with Nutrition Fit for You was a true gift, and we are forever grateful.” — C&A Client

Ready to discover an athlete-centered nutrition approach?

You don’t have to sacrifice balance and enjoyment for performance nutrition. Let us show you how.

Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) is a syndrome caused by low energy availability. Essentially, an athlete does not have sufficient energy intake to support their daily bodily functions because of the energy they’re expanding while exercising or pursuing their sport. The deficit may be intentional or unintentional, but the consequences are the same. This energy imbalance can affect multiple organ systems, leading to menstrual and hormonal dysfunction, impaired bone health, altered cardiac function, and decreased immunity. In addition to the health consequences, performance markers such as endurance, strength, and coordination may also be negatively affected.
